At our centre in Poole Park we had two weekends of windsurfing and dinghy sailing taster sessions as part of RYA’s ‘Push the Boat Out’ campaign. Centre manager AJ said, "We are in such a great location for watersports, everyone should at least be giving it a go. It is a lot easier than you think and it’s never too late to learn."
Rain never stops play for us, and we also spent the weekend exhibiting at the second Poole Harbour Boat Show. With competitions, freebies and information galore we had a lot of happy families checking out what we have to offer and getting excited about life on the water.
If that wasn’t enough, we also ran a BTEC open day over at Rockley Academy at Rockley Point. The aim of the morning is to give potential students an idea of what it’s really like being part of the BTEC Level 3 Sport Outdoor Adventure course, and the fulfilling careers they can achieve from it.
