Learning to sail can be the start of something new and exciting and the best way to get to grips with the basics is by learning to sail a dinghy. Our 2-day RYA Level 1 and 2 sailing modules will take you through all the necessary training to enable you to be confident out on the water – go on what are you waiting for. These courses are offered at our Rockley Point centre, Poole.
RYA Level 1 Start Sailing (2 days) - during the course you will learn how to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering.
After the course you will be able to sail in light winds under supervision
RYA Level 2 Basic Skills (2 days) - during the course you will learn rigging, launching, sailing in all directions, capsize recovery and essential safety knowledge.
After the course you will be able to sail and make decisions in good conditions.
For complete beginners who want to achieve their RYA Level 2 then you can book onto two of the 2-day modules.
We provide the boats, buoyancy aids and waterproofs, all you need to bring is a change of clothes, a towel and some shoes you don't mind getting wet, and of course yourselves. Further information will be sent to you on booking.
