Success Story - Harry Peters

A former student at Clayesmore School, Harry struggled to find a course which he was excited about and found school difficult because of his dyslexia. He describes Rockley College and the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity (Outdoors) course as a “real game changer” and credits his teachers as “the best I’ve ever had.”

Body Image

As an outgoing and adventurous individual with dreams of owning his own ski school and teaching outdoor activities, Harry really embraced his time at Rockley College. While a lot of his friends were choosing the A-Level route, it was the encouragement and support of his parents that prompted him to apply for the course - “It was the best decision I’ve ever made.

It has made me so happy - I’m a better person and a more confident individual. You make so many good connections with the staff and fellow students. The staff really care about you and will always help you with any problems”

His advice to anyone considering Rockley College; “Take every opportunity. The additional course they offer are not normally free so take as many as you can.”

“Try your hardest in your GCSEs and pursue your own path. Coming to Rockley College has been the best thing I have ever done.”
