Ella joined Rockley in 2017 to study Level 3 BTEC Sport Outdoor Adventure from Poole High School. She achieved a MMM and gained the following qualifications: RYA First Aid, RYA Powerboat Level 2, RYA Assistant Instructor (Sailing), RYA Sailing Level 2, RYA Kayak Assist.

After leaving Rockley Ella worked a summer season at Rockley’s La Rive centre in the south west of France and absolutely loved it! Following an exciting two months, she then went on to do a winter season in the French Alps. Her aim is to continue working seasons and travel for as long as she can get away with!

“The teachers, instructors and everyone there is why I loved attending the course every week. There was always something fun to do and no day was ever the same!”

Preparing young people for their first residential trip (for the youngsters) >

Every young person is unique - some come across as confident, energetic leaders, whilst others shy away from the limelight to work away in the background. However, no matter how outgoing or confident a young person may be - going on a school trip away from home for the first time, can be scary and daunting which is why we want their first trip away to be a fantastic one!

We're making waves!
