Fundraisers Steve and Maria took us around the hospice and shared with us exactly what they do and how they manage to support and positively change the lives of not just the children with life-limited illnesses but their siblings and parents as well.
Over the past 8 months the Rockley Team have taken part in a variety of cycling and running events in a bid to raise money for the Dorset-based charity which have included the Bournemouth Half Marathon. Rockley has so far raised over £3500 for the charity but it doesn't stop there - we have already planned a whole array of sporting events for 2015 which we hope will raise a huge amount of money for the charity.
During our time at Julia's House, Steve explained the importance of embracing the whole family. With that in mind, Rockley will be hosting a series of residential adventure weekends at our Rockley Point centre in Poole for the siblings of the poorly children as well as an activity day at our Poole Park location.
