Pip Woods, Managing Director of Rockley said of the new partnership: “Julia’s House is well known to us at Rockley and is a charity that we all feel passionately about. It is our aim to help build the awareness of the fantastic work that is done at the hospice and bring some further options to the care of the families and fundraising efforts. By being able to provide the location for a family day or activities for a siblings’ weekend we know we can make a difference to families who really need it.”
This year members of the team have taken to the roads cycling over 150 miles through Dorset and running the Bournemouth Half Marathon all for Julia’s House, raising in excess of £3000.
Continuing the partnership into next year and beyond we will be hosting multi-activity weekends for the Julia’s House siblings along with day events at our Poole Park centre.
