INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS PHYSICAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE 2017

This year’s annual Independent Schools PE (ISPEC) Conference has a new venue and is being held at Tonbridge School, Kent.

For over ten years Rockley Adventure has been exhibiting at the event as it is a great opportunity to see some of the regular teachers that we work with and meet new schools not taking a trip with us.

Rockley Schools and Groups Manager, Jack Clark talks about why ISPEC is a key event to be part of: “We have exhibited at the ISPEC conference for over 10 years now. We love to exhibit at the conference as we get to see a lot of the leading Physical Education teachers throughout the UK. This gives us the opportunity to speak with industry experts as well as giving them the information they need on what we offer for their next school trip.

“With this being the first event outside of Bryanston School for a while, it gives the conference itself a different aspect as it offers the opportunity for schools that could not attend the event in Dorset to be present. This will be a benefit to us and all exhibitors as we can see more delegates.

“We are always keen to get involved with schools and help to get them on the water as part of their planned physical activities for pupils. We are passionate about supporting schools and teachers and actively encourage out of classroom learning experiences.”

If you would like to find out more about how your school can get involved with Rockley Adventure then you can find our more here. We offer a range of activities – whether it is for just a day, school holiday trip over to France, let us know what you would like to do.

The benefits of a school residential trip for teachers and group leaders >

Teachers are amazing! However, with increasing pressures on workload and such a busy job, why take the extra time to organise a school trip? Well, because believe it or not there are many benefits for you, as well as the students.

Preparing young people for their first residential trip (for the youngsters) >

Every young person is unique - some come across as confident, energetic leaders, whilst others shy away from the limelight to work away in the background. Here at Rockley, we celebrate the achievements of all our students and nurture and mould their skill set. However, no matter how outgoing or confident a young person may be - going on a school trip away from home for the first time, can be scary and daunting which is why we want their first trip away to be a fantastic one!

We're making waves!
