Each year the evnt gets bigger and better as we see hundreds of pupils take to the waters over the two days competing for their school and having fun at the same time. It's a wonderful team event which brings youngsters from schools all over Dorset coming together to represent their school and show off their sailing skills.
Taking place on 29th June, the primary school teams are made up of year 4, 5 and 6 pupils, racing against each other while on 30th June, pupils from years 7 - 10 will be representing the Secondary schools. Each day includes racing for pairs, teams and individuals, with each sailor’s result leading to an overall winning school in each event. With medals up for grabs, the event demonstrates real teamwok, camaraderie and competitiveness between pupils and schools.
