FREE Events for Schools at Poole Park

Poole Park is hosting a series of events this year at Poole Park Lake specifically designed to get schools and school children involved with water activities and compete for their school in a fun environment.

Schools can join in for FREE and really enjoy some great learning outside of the classroom experiences!

Can Do Festival - 19th-20th June 2017

  • Primary Day - 19th June 930am - 330pm
  • Secondary Day - 20th June 930am - 330pm
  • For children on the SEN register only
  • Completely FREE
  • Kayak races & sail taster for every child
  • Medals & trophies up for grabs
  • A great way to encourage children of all abilities that they 'Can Do' something if they try

Dorset School Games- 29th-30th June 2017

  • Primary Day - 29th June 930am - 4pm
  • Secondary Day - 30th June 930am - 4pm
  • For children with a minimum RYA Stage 1
  • Completely FREE
  • Crewed sailing for both days & single handed racing for the secondary day only
  • Medals & trophies up for grabs
  • For children who already have a basic understanding of sailing (min RYA Stage 1) to come and compete for their school in a fun environment

Here at Rockley, we celebrate the achievements of all our students and nurture and mould their skill set. However, no matter how outgoing or confident a young person may be - going on a school trip away from home for the first time, can be scary and daunting which is why we want their first trip away to be a fantastic one!
