Five Things You Need to Know About Us!

Rockley has been teaching sailing and watersports activities for an amazing 40 years and it all started with just a caravan on the beach as an office and a few boats.

The Rockley team love to swim, cycle, run (sometimes simultaneously), sail, wakeboard, ski and windsurf. They are all different and similar in equal measures, but there are a few things that they all have in common – they love where they live in fabulous Dorset, they love the outdoors, they love the water and they are passionate about what they do.

You may already know all of that but here are five things you may not know about Rockley, but should!

  1. In 1976, 325 people took to the waters with Rockley, in 2016 this number was over 10,000

  2. Rockley is now the largest provider of BTEC Level 3 Sport (outdoor adventure) in the UK

  3. We were allowed to choose our very own postcode of BH15 4RW

  4. Over the past two years the Rockley team has collectively cycled, swum and ran thousands of miles raising over £25,000 for Julia’s House

  5. Rockley has 27 full time staff with a total of 29 children, 10 dogs and two cats
