Under the guidance of our BTEC co-ordinators and Rockley staff, the BTEC students are leading sessions and getting to grips with being an instructor. As students prepare for their work experience in France, the training week is a real opportunity for them take on the role of an instructor and receive invaluable feedback from fully qualified RYA Instructors and Coach Assessors.

The BTEC Level 3 Sport (Outdoor Adventure) course which is equivalent to 2 'A' Levels combines theory units, practical activities and employer valued, professional National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications. This unique course has been designed to enable candidates to build a career in the outdoor leisure industry and/or access a university degree.

For some, the course enables candidates to pursue their passion and work within the watersports industry, for some, it's the stepping stone they need to get in to University and fulfill their career aspirations.

Our BTEC course starts in September and we are hosting several open days over the following months - 21st May, 2nd July & 20th August. These Open Days which run from 10-12 provide the perfect opportunity for potential students and parents to find out more information about the course and speak to our course co-ordinators.
