Rockley at Poole Park is based in a purpose-built boathouse and restaurant. Located in the centre of Poole on the shores of the UK's largest inland saltwater lake. Your group can be on the water within minutes of arriving on-site! Poole Park offers the ideal environment for groups and individulas to experience watersports either for the first time or for short taster sessions.
Rockley at Poole Park specialises in introductory sailing, windsurfing and kayaking, enabling students and individuals to work towards various qualifications.
This centre is especially suitable for local groups that require activity sessions on a half-day or short session basis or individuals looking to have a go at sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. The emphasis here is on participation for all our local schools and residents, therefore making our short sessions exceptionally good value.
Whitecliff Park - On the outskirt of Poole Park but an open area with views over the Harbour and a huge playarea.
Baiter Park - A short walk away from the park and great views over Poole Harbour and Brownsea Isalnd, the birth place of scouting.
Poole Quay - Located a short walk away form Poole Park or with a direct link on the Land Train.
From the A35 Upton bypass or A350 from Blandford, follow signs for Poole town centre. Travel along the A350 Holes Bay Road to the large roundabout by Asda and Poole train station, take the flyover left over the railway line to the George roundabout, take the last exit, Kingland Road, with the bus station on your right and the Lighthouse Centre for the Arts on your left, up to another roundabout, go straight over and take the first left into Poole Park. We are about 200m along the road by the water in the same building as The Boatshed restaurant.
From Poole town centre there is an entrance to Poole Park by the Civic centre at the very end of Sandbanks Road or continue along Parkstone Road which runs alongside the Park to Pleasant roundabout, take the first left onto Mount Pleasant Road, at the next roundabout go left and then first left again into the Park. We are about 200m along the road by the water in the same building as The Boatshed restaurant.
