It was a thrilling day on the water as Rockley Owner Peter Gordon and Instructor extraordinaire Paddy Powney took three novice Cat sailors out in Poole Harbour for literally a morning of blasting across the waves! Who needs the America's Cup!?
The RYA, who are running a feature in relation to the America's Cup wanted to show how thrilling catamaran sailing can be even for those who have never tried it before. At one point it looked like it may just be too windy for our novices as the forecast showed a Force 6 gusting Force 7, however with near perfect sailing conditions and an enthusiastic group wanting to experience the thrill of cat sailing then there was only one thing to do!
Natalie, Peter and CJ had a fantastic experience out on the water under the guidance of two of our most qualified members of staff with CJ claiming that Rockley had set the bar too high and that he couldn't possibly go out in anything less than a Force six now!
