Q My children have done some sailing courses before but haven’t sailed since last summer, which course should I book them onto as I don’t want them to be out of their depth or not feeling sufficiently challenged and getting bored?

A This is often a worry for improver or intermediate sailors as you are never sure what you’ll remember, or have forgotten, until you get back on the water and it all comes flooding back – hopefully not literally! This is why for all of our courses, apart from beginners, the first thing we do is get on the water to have a quick and simple shake down sail to ensure that we have the right groupings to give every student the best opportunity to progress.

Over the years we have run sailing courses we have found that: a) many students will be surprised by how much they remember and; b) a little time covering previous topics will solidify the foundations on which to build the next stage of progression.

So just book yourself onto the course which you feel is the best fit and then trust us to tweak things to make sure they have the best experience possible.
